Tom McGoldrick

Born in Co Antrim in 1930 Tom McGoldrick has been a full-time painter since 1984. He is a `peoples painter` in the true sense whose painterly depictions of Irish life both past and present capture its people and landscape for future generations. His paintings in both oil and watercolour reflect the ever changing moods and atmosphere of the Irish landscape whether in his native Co Antrim, the Donegal Mountains or the Atlantic West Coast. Not only is he a fine painter but he he also an accomplished musician holding the distinction of All Ireland Fiddle Champion.
His paintings are found in collections throughout the world, not only in Ireland, but Great Britain, Canada, U.S.A., Australia and Europe.
